SFGFF members were treated to a sneak-peek of the beautiful and moving film The Messenger for the annual SFGFF Members' Night.
This urgent documentary from director Su Rynard, took us around the globe following in the path of songbirds. Their prodigious migratory feats span hemispheres and defy belief, even as it soberly explores the reasons behind their dramatic disappearance worldwide.
We were joined by producer Joanne Jackson who fielded questions on the making of the film. Joanne inspired us all to join in their wave of action to protect songbirds, including supporting bird-friendly coffee.
