Film Provides a Window to the World

As many of us are binge watching on our small screens right now, it’s clear that storytellers are our lifeline to other worlds and times, and to the future that awaits at the end of this. Love and gratitude for the filmmakers!

We must support film industry people in this moment of need.

Please give some love to friends in the film gig economy – artists, freelancers, all those whose work hours will fall short this month. If you have the means, send donations to these friends (food delivery, cold hard cash). Even something small goes a long way. Support your local businesses which have been forced to close – film festivals, cinemas, film productions, etc - buy a gift voucher/pass/tickets now to use or give further down the line. Try it, this costs you little and feels really good!

Stay healthy, stay loving, stay hopeful!
