Green Film Fest 2017 Audience Award Winner

The Green Film Fest Audience Award is voted on by film viewers at festival screenings throughout the week.

The unanimous winner was Yasuni Man by director Ryan Killackey.

In Yasuni Man, filmmaker Ryan Killackey takes us on an incredible expedition – a 1,500 kilometer journey along 7 rivers – through this Ecuadorian reserve, sharing the story of the conflict in Yasuni that has pitted biodiversity and human rights against oil and commercialization.

Killackey was at the Green Film Fest 2017 screening talking about his experience in the Amazon and the ongoing battle to protect Yasuni.
